Pastor Gary has been at Westminster since 1993, previously serving as senior pastor of Glen Ellyn Bible Church in suburban Chicago. Gary and Jorie have brought to Westminster a deep sense of commitment to ministry, community and growth in personal maturity. Jorie gives lots of time to Music ministry, both vocal and violin, and to our Women's ministry, especially in our MOMS outreach to young mothers.

Adam Marquardt
Pastor to Global Mission

Adam just joined our staff in September '04. He grew up as a missionary child in Liberia, West Africa where he gained a unique perspective of the world and the model of his father as an evangelist.

Arlene started off at Westminster in 2003 as part-time Creative Arts intern before coming on full-time as Pastor-in-training for Creative Arts in June 2004.

Brian is our only pastor who grew up at Westminster and has served under all three of Westminster's senior pastors. His role as Executive Pastor allows him to use his gifts and passions of leading, teaching and planning along side Pastor Gary to lead our staff and church community. He was a pastor in our youth ministry for 20 years, and then family ministry pastor for five years before taking on this current role. He loves traveling (when possible), the beach with a good book and movie nights with his wife.  Brian and Lori have three children, Brittany, Graydon, and Marshall.

Chuck has been at Westminster since 1995, having served previously in youth ministry in the Denver area. Chuck has seen dramatic growth in the numbers of Middle School students in this ministry, and has a deep commitment to understanding and discipling our Middle School students at this critical juncture in life. Chuck and Kris have three children, a grown son, Chuck Jr., Ryan, and Rad.

Ministry to women is a familiar challenge to which Dixie brings a wealth of experience, having devoted much of her life to assisting Christian women in their discovery of personal meaning and purpose. Her passion and skill in helping people connect in friendships and grow in Christian service has endeared her to many. Before coming to Westminster Chapel, she served twelve years as Minister to Women in Dublin CA, and is known for her work in developing Small Groups and as a Bible teacher and guest speaker at retreats and conferences.

John Sloss grew up at Westminster and has been on staff for the Jr. High since Summer 1999. Graduating from Seattle Pacific University in 2001 with a B.A. in Communications and a Minor in Youth Ministry, he has been the Jr. High Pastor since June 2005.  John has a passion for experincing life with Jr. Highers. He loves watching them meet God for the first time and dedicating their lives to our Lord. Check out our youth website at www.westminster.org/youth for more information. Laurey joined our team in the summer of 2000. Laurey is a gifted, multi-talented minister of the church, with broad experience in composition, conducting, recording and production. Laurey received a Dove Award nomination for "Enter In With Joy" as the best Sacred Musical of the Year and was chosen for the Advisory Board for the recent Celebration Hymnal.

Matt came to Westminster in 1995 and served as an assistant in our Middle School department, then as an intern in the Youth Department, and became the Director of our College Ministry in the fall of '96. In 1998 Matt spent a year in our Pastor-in-Training program before becoming the Pastor to our College Ministry. He recently moved into a new role overseeing our entire Next Gen ministry department.

Michelle has been in children's ministry leadership for more than 13 years and has had an educational emphasis in Early Childhood. She has large church experience, a true passion for seeing kids come to know Jesus in a creative, fun way and is dedicated to excellence.

Pastor Ralph has been at Westminster since 1989. Ralph served as our High School pastor until 1994, became pastor of Enfolding from 1994 to 1998, and from 1999-2001 functioned in the broad role of Ministry Development, working with Pastor Gary and our entire staff to develop more effective and coordinated ministries. In the spring on 2001, Ralph began work in our newly developed Extension Department, which will focus on local and global outreach, our volunteer ministry, and our Next Generation ministry. Prior to joining the Westminster staff, Ralph served as a youth pastor for almost 20 years.

I have been at Westminster Chapel since 1996 and started working full-time with the Junior High Ministry in 1998. I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Communication. My passion for youth has continued to deepen in the years that I have been in ministry.

After many years as a business owner, Theresa felt led to attend seminary where she acquired a Masters of Applied Theology. She is the author of "The Hidden Mission Field: Caring for Single Parent Families in the 21st Century," as well as a comprehensive curriculum for single parents and their children, "One Parent Plus Kids." The mother of two adult young women, Theresa is a frequent conference speaker on community care, one's identity in Christ, and single parenting.
