Green Hollow Square   Singles FAQ

1. Why is it…that the Singles Groups are divided by ages? Most folks are more comfortable with others about their same age. Some folks are REALLY uncomfortable outside their age group, so this way you have a guide. It’s not a requirement, the groupings are provided for your comfort. If you’re more comfortable in another group, by all means go there. There’s no carding at the door.

2. I’m 27 or younger, is there a place for me? Yes there is! The Young Adult Ministry is designed for folks 27 and younger. Whether you’re in college or working in your career, married or single, there is a lot happening here for you. For more information about these activities or about getting connected to a young adult small group please contact Tod and Chabre’ Hall at (410) 692-7711 or tchall2@verizon.net. We’d love to hear from you.

3. What if I or my guest aren’t members at Mountain, are we still welcome? You certainly are! The mission of Mountain Christian Church is to “Make disciples, more and better disciples” so everyone is encouraged to build a relationship with Christ, and certainly church membership helps that to happen. If you’ve not yet made that decision, come out anyway.

4. I keep hearing about “small groups”, what are they all about and why are they important to me? Community is a big part of who we are. A great place to find that is in a small group. A small group is a gathering of folks who agree to meet on a regular basis, usually weekly or every two weeks. The number of people in a small group can vary but is usually between 6 and 14. Coming together in this way to grow stronger in our relationship with Jesus by studying His Word and by learning from one another, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matt. 18:20. To grow in a small group contact marybach@mountainchristian.org or call 410-877-1824.
