Welcome to Into Thy Word’s flagship purpose, teaching you how to study the Bible!
We started to teach people inductive Bible study in the late 70’s and became a ministry in 1988. These studies have been carefully crafted by years of research and application to teach you how to do it yourself! It is our call to help you to understand what is in His Word, to appreciate, comprehend and to be challenged to grow richer and deeper in your relationship to Christ and to others around you. What does the Bible itself say regarding the importance of Bible study? A lot; but, for this article, we will take a look at two passages, one in the Old Testament, and the other in the New. Both of these passages are the foundation to scores of centuries-old theological works. They convey to us the power and importance of what is important in life—why we do things, how we can do things right, and what we can do to be the best we can be. The basic “meaning of life” stuff.

You may use these studies for your personal devotions or for group study. You may also use them to prepare you to teach and to preach. Churches and pastors all over the world use these studies every day in many languages from Sunday sermons to personal growth. These studies each take between 30 and 50+ hours of preparation. They are yours to use freely. All we ask is to keep us in prayer; if you translate any of our material you are welcome and encouraged to do so, but please give us a copy so we can make it available to others too. If you feel led to give, we are a mission’s organization who is in great need for financial resources. So we can expand our mission’s efforts of training pastors and giving you the best resources available. Unlike other ministries we do not sell our materials, we give then up front to you for free. We feel this is what our Lord calls us too. We also believe you are getting the best discipleship materials available that are Biblical, clear and concise. So dig in and get ready to grow!
