Christian Management Report
April 2002 (VOL. 26, NO. 3)
Theme: Decision Making/Problem Solving
"Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise" Proverbs 16:20 NIV
One of leadership's core competencies is decision-making. In a leader's day thousands of decisions are made, often small but at times life-altering. In fact, leadership is often defined more by the quality of its decisions than anything else. As several of our authors point out, our decisions reveal who we are: our values, our humility, our fears, our priorities. We either draw on God's wisdom or lean on our own, seek God's purposes or carry out our own agenda. So much of who we are is wrapped up in the decisions we make. As Larry Yonker and his team suggest, we need to "choose life" in the decisions we make. It's this "quality of life" that God wants us to experience fully. Hopefully you'll find this issue surging with life. Your feedback is encouraged by emailing DeWayne@CMAonline.org.
