John Hannah is an Alliance Council member and the Distinguished Professor and Research Professor of Historical Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He has been affiliated with the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals since 1995. He has a Th.M. and Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary, an M.A. from Southern Methodist University, a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Post-doctoral Fellowship in American Studies at Yale University. A prolific writer, he has authored numerous journal articles, contributed chapters to many books, and has authored or edited several more. He is a frequent conference and church speaker, both home and abroad. He and his wife, Carolyn Ruth, are the parents of two adult children.
