CMA Management Monthly, July 2002 - HOT TOPICS FOR 2003 PLANNED FOR CONFERENCE!  Enron, Worldcom, Arthur Anderson, CEO firings, the economy, the Catholic Church, clergy, and the sexual abuse of children-the news is filled with hot trends and troubling issues.  They will all be addressed at CMA Colorado Springs 2003.  Speakers and workshop titles for CMA's annual leadership and management conference for Christian organizations and growing churches, Feb. 24-27, 2003, will be announced in September.  This month, CMA section leaders are reviewing the "Call for Presentation" workshop proposals submitted by CMA members.  (Members who submitted proposals will be contacted by Sept. 30.)

CEO DIALOGUES COMING: August 13.  The next CEO Dialogue will be August 13, 2002, in Colorado Springs.  Jerry White, president of The Navigators and the new chairman of the CMA board of directors, will host the event. The one-day roundtables (CEOs only) are limited to 25 people.  Details.

CMA EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM.  The first of three weeklong workshops for the CMA Executive Leadership Program (Class of 2003) will be Oct. 6-11, 2002, at the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs (Sunday evening to Friday noon).
