What if we understood that evangelism begins with listening? What if we began to rethink evangelism as a way of life rather than a specific set of practices? What if we understood evangelism to be snything we do to help another person move closer to a relationship with God?
Dr. Tony Campolo will help us begin to rethink evangelism. With humor, wisdom, and experience Dr. Campolo will energize and equip you for effective mission and help you share your faith with others.
Dr. Campolo will speak at the Alexandria Riverfront Center on November 14 from 9am to 3pm. You can register in the church office and the cost will be $25. Tickets will be $30 at the door. Lunch is included in the price of registration.
Common Ground: Food for the Body & Soul
Common Ground is a place where all generations, and all persons, can come together and share a meal and grow in faith. You are invited to step onto the common ground of our faith which is Christ Jesus our Lord. Come and fellowship with each other as we grow closer to Him. Common Gorund will take place every Wednesday night. Dinner will be served from 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm, with a gathering time and blessing at 5:45 pm.
